My name is Mark Smith and I am an Interactive, Motion Graphics and Identity Designer based in Vancouver, BC.

The Web 2.0 era has its way of bringing up an important issue one day and the next day it is suddenly forgotten about. We are very individual about the way we use the web, but Linux and Wikipedia have shown us how the incredible potential groups can utilize this interconnectedness.

WHOOTALK.com aims to exploit this incredible realization once again by leveraging short attention spans and the notion of ”group think”. It aims to avoid the lock-in which contricts our evolution of communication and wishes to embrace self governance, transparency, and accountability. We have the potential to make group decisions by unifying around brilliant ideas and bypassing bureaucracy to answer important questions quickly. This is a tool to reignite the power of democracy and bring the people back together where the belong; as a collective governing body.
